Biography: Alice Li is an entrepreneur, businesswoman, and believer of dreams. She is a Senior Associate in the Audit and Assurance group at PwC Canada, specializing in the asset management industry. Alice completed both her undergraduate and graduate studies in accounting at the University of Toronto, where she graduated as Class Valedictorian, and she is currently pursuing her CPA CA professional designation. Beauty and brains - she is the reigning Miss Intercontinental Canada 2018 and national finalist for Miss Universe Canada 2019.
Whenever Alice is not crunching numbers at the office, you can find her busking on the streets of Toronto, performing to raise funds for charity. What started as a childhood hobby has now turned into an established charity project, making international headlines all over the world. For Alice, this project was a way to give back to a good cause while doing something she loved, which was the performing arts. The streets of Toronto has now become Alice's favorite stage and a place where her heart truly is. One donation at a time, rain or shine, Alice is determined to make a difference.
An entrepreneur, Alice founded a nonprofit jewelry store that donates all proceeds to charity. She named it the "Modern Princess" to demonstrate the theme that beauty is both inside and out. Not only will you look beautiful wearing her jewelry, but you will also feel beautiful for supporting a good cause!
Alice is also a young advocate in the local healthy industry, serving as a board member on the William Osler Health Foundation's Future Leaders Board, which supports three local hospitals: Etobicoke General, Peel Memorial, and Brampton Civic. To date, more than $60,000 has been raised towards Toronto's local emergency rooms.
Alice wants to demonstrate the difference one person can make and inspire others to be their best selves.
