Traditionally, I am Cayuga of the Turtle clan and my traditional knowledge was shared with me by family and my community. I am the Author of a book called “Recover Rebuild Reclaim Self” to help women and girls to heal from sexual assault. The book promotes the Reconnection Journey through the Tree Rings. It is the Traditional Health Model of the Haudenosaunee as healing pathway to find peace, strength and a good mind. My role is to share my cultural knowledge as an indigenous mother and to empower women to become their best self.
