Biography:

While Lindsay was on a missions trip to Nicaragua in 2011, she was able to serve in several communities by feeding the children at church services. These children were provided one meal a day, five days a week through programs that are sponsored by World Mission Outreach. At these services, the children were to bring a bowl for the food that they served them, but throughout the week they noticed several of the children not eating. She later came to find that they weren't eating because they didn't have a bowl. Some of the children had a bowl but no spoon and they would scoop the hot soup or rice in their hands to eat it. This broke Lindsay's heart! So she and her friend founded "Feeding the Five-Thousand" a non-profit organization that provides bowls and spoons for children in Nicaragua with the hope to change this situation for these children. They organize events to raise support for these children. These tools allow them to participate in feeding programs with World Missions Outreach.
