Biography: Makeup by Liraz was founded at 2016 by Liraz Jacoby, Makeup artist, educator, and mentor who’s been in the industry for over 10 years.
After losing her mother to cancer Liraz decided to follow her dreams and start her own journey as business owner & makeup artist.
Liraz does not come from the business world but through passion, grit, hard work, and positivity was able to build a successful business. Liraz supports women, fellow entrepreneurs & embracing confidence and body positivity.
In 2017 Liraz started her makeup academy and discovered her newfound love of teaching. Through the Academy, Liraz was fortunate to mentor and coach the next generation of creative talent. Mentorship is extremely important to Liraz as this vital piece was missing from her own education as a young artist.
Liraz’s mission is to instil confidence, security and high self esteem.
While running her own business and mentoring her graduates she found the time to start a charitable initiative called Shine for Suzan in honour of her late mother.
Shine for Suzan celebrates women who overcame challenges in life while sharing their stories and empowering others.
Liraz loves giving back to her community and often you’ll find her supporting and helping various charities in her spare time.
