Biography:

Christine Roth is a litigator of almost 20 years and the owner of Roth Law Offices. In her practice, she has represented individuals before various Tribunals, and at various levels of Ontario Courts. Christine has mentored many students and young lawyers since her Call to the Bar in 2004. Outside of her practice, she is a mom first, a community activist for Indigenous Peoples, and people with mental health issues before the Courts. She is an active member of the Ontario Bar Association advocating for her passion – Access to Justice – Vice-Chair of Criminal Justice Section, and sitting on various committees for the Criminal Justice Section, the Civil Litigation Section, Family Law Litigation Section and the Women’s Forum. She is also the Regional Director of the Ontario Bar Association for the Central East Region. For 9 years, Christine worked as an Independent Pro Bono Counsel representing a Wrongfully Convicted individual from 2012 through 2021. From 2018 through 2020 Christine was the vice-chair, and later the chair of the Northumberland Community Counseling Centre. She has sat on the executive committee of 100+ Women with Hearts since 2018.
