Marta Pozniakowski

Marta graduated from the National Film School in Poland, where masters like Kieslowski, Wajda and Polanski were polishing their directing skills. Marta had a successful career as an actress in Polish television series. In 2008 she came to Canada where she married her husband with whom they have two children. Having the irresistible energy and fire, she created one of the prestigious film events in Canada that celebrates Polish Cinematography. With passion and love Marta builds Ekran the Toronto Polish Film Festival, that is going to celebrate its 15th anniversary this year and she is deeply grateful and thankful for all the people that are part of this awesome organization and without whom the event wouldn’t be able grow.

Professionally, Marta is a is a real estate broker and founder of SKYSCRAPER1 Ltd. Corporation that specializes in developing land, construction and property management.
