Jasmine Daya

Jasmine Daya is a personal injury lawyer, author and entrepreneur residing in Toronto with her husband and three children. In addition to owning her own law firm, Jasmine Daya & Company, she is the owner and director of JD Holdings Corp., which provides property management services for a portfolio of real estate that she owns in Toronto, Kingston, Ottawa and Muskoka. She recently published her first chicklit novel, Law Girl’s Bump in the Road, under the pen name Leia London which is available on Amazon and at select Indigo stores. She also launched a lifestyle and food blog JD in the Kitchen which shares easy recipes, tips and tricks to balance a busy career and making home cooked meals. She will soon be releasing her Indian cookbook series and Indian spice line also under the brand JD in the Kitchen.

She completed a Pre-College Program at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She then obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Economics at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She then completed a a Bachelor of Laws at Queen’s University and a Master of Laws at Osgoode Hall. She has also completed the Canadian Securities Course, an International and Comparative Law program through Tulane University that was hosted by McGill University and a Negotiation course for lawyers and executives at Harvard University.
