Sarah Robinson

A single mom of a teenager, with several disabilities and mental health challenges of her own, Sarah founded Toronto Cares in March 2020 during the first lockdown, to assist other families with similar challenges. She has been volunteering since the age of five with Girl Guides of Canada, as well as other organizations and initiatives. Sarah continues to run Toronto Cares, on a volunteer basis, seven days a week. Sarah has dedicated her life to giving back to her community and assisting the most vulnerable members of society. She has taken Toronto Cares from a simple Facebook post & turned it into a successful nonprofit organization with hundreds of volunteers and thousands of recipients, which has recently applied for charitable status.
