THE ANNUAL WATERFRONT AWARDS 2023 – June TBA at the Globe and Mail Centre

June, 2023 TORONTO, ON … Toronto Waterfront Magazine, celebrating their 20^th year Anniversary, is pleased to announce the third annual Waterfront Awards 2023. This prestigious red-carpet event and charity gala will honour the achievements of outstanding women in the Greater Toronto Area, focusing on fifteen (15) categories: philanthropy, environment, science, community activism, design, sports, music, arts, culinary arts, business, film, authors, fashion, outstanding innovator, and the most coveted award, the Waterfront Award for outstanding achievement! The Gala will be shining a light on a roster of outstanding women with remarkable achievements, celebrity presenters, live local entertainment, and a silent auction in support of the Abuse Hurts (Canadian Centre for Abuse Awareness). One of last year’s highlight was a special presentation by Mississauga Mayor, the honorable Bonnie Crombie, bestowing the Legacy Lifetime Achievement Award to Hurricane Hazel McCallion. It was a sold-out affair! We expect another stellar event this year with dancing, delicious food, and many more surprises.

Abuse Hurts, a national, charitable organization founded in 1993 to reduce the incidence and impact of abuse through education and public awareness. Abuse Hurts assists approximately 100,000 individuals, mainly women and children, every year. (www.abusehurts.ca)
